Open Question: How do your get rid of or hide smokers odor in the house?

My boyfriend smokes, I don't. I hate the awful odor that lingers throughout the house when I'm not around to push him outside. I burn scented oil in those pot things, but its just don't last. Febreze products help but are so expects to be going through everyday. Is there anything i can do so that I do to make my house smell nice all the time???

Open Question: Professional Carpet Cleaning & Kitten?

Anyone here know if professional carpet cleaners use any kind of chemical that could be dangerous to an older kitten? I've got her locked up in a bathroom but I can smell the deodorizers from all the way across the apartment so the kitten is much closer to the actual cleaners than I am. I told them that there was a cat in the bathroom and they said "Okay! We won't own that door" but never said anything about it being dangerous. Should I be concerned or just assume she's safe locked up in the bathroom?

Open Question: What do you use to get blood stains out of fabric and wood?

My dog got his ear bitten off by another dog next door which caused him to get blood all through my house. Does anyone know of a good product to help remove blood. From shaking his head, I had blood everywhere. It was awful and scary. His vetinarian had to knock him out for a while and he was given many, many stitches. I'm still trying to get the blood out of my curtains, carpet, other fabrics and out of my wood floors which were suppose to soon be treated with polyurethane. I hope I don't have to replace everything. This has become a very costly issue.
