Open Question: What are the advantages of an energy efficient washing machine?Hi, I'm about to buy a new energy efficient washing machine for $400 (from a scratch and dent sale at Lowe's). I'm excited because I have lots of clothes to wash including lots of blankets that get pee-soaked, and it takes these blankets several cycles to dry in the dryer. I have been told that the high energy efficient washer spins these clothes so they are not so heavy with water and will dry sooner. That would be great so I won't have to use my dryer as much. Is $400 a good buy for this type of washer? I think the delivery might even be free. I also heard that it doesn't take but maybe a small amount of detergent to put in the washer to do my clothes. So, I'm wondering if there are any minuses to buying a high efficiency washer machine? All I see are pluses, and no minuses. By the way, no, I'm not buying this to save the planet, or because Al Gore or Obama says it's great for the environment. I'm doing it for me. Any feedback on these type of washing machines would be appreciated so much. Thanks. Open Question: How do you get stains out of a coach purse?I got eyeliner on the inside of my coach bag.
