Open Question: How to easily get rid of lint/pills?

I washed a jacket with a notebook in the pocket and have all those little pills on it. It's sort of a fleece-like fabric. I tried one of those lint rollers with tape on it and it's not helping. Something easier than just picking off each little piece?

Open Question: How do I save my leather belt after it was soaked in Sea water?

I was at the beach the other day, and I had forgotten that I had my good leather belt on, it's medium thickness, about 2.5 inches wide and brown in color, when I went in the water. I got out immediately when I realized, but the leather was already soaked. I rinsed it in fresh water, and it has dried, but the leather is now a lot darker than before and a bit "flaky" and stiff. I fear I may have ruined it, but is there any way to save the leather?

Open Question: I washed my down comforter and now it smells weird?

Ok, so I decided to wash my down comforter. It wasn't dirty, I'm just washing everything today. So anyway I took it out of the wash and now it smells weird. Will the smell go away once its dry, or did I ruin it? And should I put it in the dryer, or hang it?
