Open Question: Is it possible a life form was born from inside a dirty laundry hamper?

This guy I knew told me about a gross story about a life form that was 'born' in the dirty laundry. He threw some damp used towels in the hamper and didn't remove them for almost a year. He lived in an apartment where he had to lug his laundry up a lot of stairs, and so he only did small loads each time, and so the dirty towels at the bottom never ended up getting washed. Also, the hamper was a cloth-like material - it was like a mesh bag with a solid cloth surface that was resting in a plastic frame stand. Anyway, when he was moving out of the apartment and cleaning out the hamper, he lifted the towel and found this small black creepy crawly creature. He said it was the grossest thing and he just tossed the entire hamper out because he was so grossed out. He said it was small, about an inch long and it moved like a caterpillar - when he lifted the towel, it lifted it's 'head' up like it sensed the towel moved about it. But it didn't have any eyes and it was like pitch black in color, and kind of looked like a worm. He thinks it was born from the dirty bacteria that was on the towel, and the damp and dark environment gave it a place to 'grow' into this creature. I want to know is this possible for a life form to be 'born' like this? I believe him, but I think probably some but crawled into the hamper and laid an egg or something. I know it's gross, but please does anybody know if it's possible how he described the creature came about? I'm curious.... Thanks.

Open Question: Why are blood stains so difficult to remove?

You would think that because blood is water-based, water-based cleaners would get rid of it easily, but that is just not the case. However, ammonia-based cleaners will do the trick. Why is dry blood so difficult to remove?
