Open Question: Whould it be ok to use a fabric whitener on mixed colour garments?I've got some t-shirts that have gone grey but they have other colours and I want to whiten them without ruining the other colours is there any other products I can use. Open Question: how can i dye shorts more red?ok, so i just got some shorts at abercrombie, and they said it was red, but being abercrombie, they're really faded....and it looks pink. if i was to wash them (first time, btw) in with lots of red, and dark red, shirts and things, would it make them darker red again? btw, its all cotton shorts.....thanks! also, how would i do it, just regular wash with warm or hot watter? and then a good long cycle in the dryer? any other ideas on things i can do? thanks!! Oooh ok, that sounds good. how would i go about adding that to the washer?.....i have a front end washer, the high efficiensy kind, so its not like it fills full of water, would i just add it where the bleach goes ahead of time and then do a hot load? or would it be best to just soak them in a bucket of warm water and the dye? thanks!
