Open Question: Little Green and my Microfiber?

We want to clean our microfiber couch but it really and all over clean (not just a spot clean). In the past for spot cleaning we have cleaned it with water but now you can see where the spots were because of the 'water lines' from cleaning...which is why we want to do the whole couch. No we haven't used chemicals on it just water. We just bough a Bissell Little Green to spot treat the carpet, would it be safe to use it on the couch? With chemicals or with just water? I can't believe the sales lady told me these things are much better to have with kids!

Open Question: How to clean the outside of a wax proof Belstaff jacket efficiently?

Have had a Trailmaster jkt for near on 3 years now, so I guess its losing its wax feel as well as protection against the rain water...recently bought a tin of what I believe to be a wax which I was told by the store to heat in a saucepan until it melts into a liquid form, all very well, but what would be the ideal way to apply the wax onto the outside of the jacket in order to get an even layer and more efficient finish...
