Open Question: anyone with condo cleaning experience?thinking about taking on condo cleaning this summer which i've never done. would like info from employee...not employer! Open Question: Bathtub – Can't Remove Layer of Dirt?(A) I share a bathtub with two other tenants. The tub has not become incredibly dirty. However there is a very thin black layer (film?) of dirt on the surface. I can't remove this layer. I've tried scrubbing with powdered Ajax/Comet and bleach. This is an old metal bathtub from the 1920's with an interior baked white finish (which looks like porcelain though it probably isn't porcelain). (B) How can I get this dreaded layer off the surface? I can't stand it. (I appreciate any cheap solutions.) Open Question: Black residue from vintage suede?Does anyone know what the black residue is that rubs off vintage suede clothing & purses? It's worse than dirt - it's like crumbly shoe polish or something - and it's hard to remove from skin & other clothing that it rubs off onto. More Recent Articles
