Open Question: What's the difference between baking soda, bicarbonate of soda, and washing soda?

I hear them use these different terms on "How Clean Is Your House" on BBCA, to mix them into either water, washing up liquid (dish soap) or vinegar for cleaning different things around the house. Is plain old Arm & Hammer baking soda the same thing?

Open Question: How to clean bronze and not make it sticky?

I would like to clean a bronze plectrum. A picture is in this link http://www.amazon.co.uk/12-Metal-Guitar-Bass-Plectrums/dp/B001GAFVNE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1263578652&sr=8-1 The plectrum is dirty after a lot of use and I would like to clean it, but without it getting sticky. I want to use natural products as I will be touching the plectrum for a long time and would not like to get any chemicals on me. I don't want to put down the plectrum, rub my eye and have it burn. lol.

Open Question: How can I hold a trash bag open?

I'm cleaning and have a lot to throw away and it drives me crazy to just put the bag on the floor and fill it up. Why? Because it always falls over itself when there's not much in it..i hate having to bend down and pull it open over and over again. All my trash cans are small so I can't put it in there. Are there any household items I could use to hang it up and keep it open?
