Open Question: Can any stain be cleaned of a CD?

Also what is the best way to go about cleaning it. By stain i mean pretty much anything like any sauce, liquid, food, and even any bodily fluid like saliva or even urine. Basically i just want to know if any stain can be cleaned off of a CD without damaging the CD? BQ- Also if u were by accident to drop a CD case would the CD inside get damaged or as long as the CD was secure inside and as long as the CD case didn't break completely, the CD inside should be safe? Cause CD cases break pretty easily and i just want to know that even if the case gets cracked that as long as it not completely broken that the case still protects the CD inside?

Open Question: There is a gross looking mold at the bottom of my trash can and my mother wants me to clean it.Is it dangerous?

My mother said that the mold wouldn't harm me and when there's mold on food, al you have to do is cut the mold out and eat the food (she used this example to reassure me that the mold in the trashcan is harmless). She's an RN/etc, too, idk if that makes her even more at fault for not knowing that the mold is dangerous if it is. Plus it's common sense that the mold on the food could act differently than the mold at the bottom of our trash can. It's dark brown and gray, and it has an outline surrounding it like a membrane may surround a cell. (cept the outline is like a half centimeter away from the mold body). And there's also some brown splotches that I think are just littler splotches of mold. There's also a spot of something black and it's suspiciously thick, (compared to the pretty much flat mold), like when you roll out flour. cept it's black and looks like it'd be a bit denser. I doubt it's mold but if it's another type of the mold then that's some pretty scary friggin mold too and some unusual mold. I don't want to touch it to see if it's just some piece of spoiled food incase I get infected by either it, or the mold in the trash can. I don't know how the trashcan got like this.....Maybe there was a whole in a garbage bag we had. But it's disgusting. PS>>>Dont tell me chlorine bleach kills mold, because it doesn't. It's not suggested by the EPA for multiple reasons. It's just a common myth though. The only mold CB really does kill is 2 types of stuff that causes Athletes Foot Fungus (aspergillus whatever and the other type I forget what it is). CB is 99% water, and it loses 50% of its C sitting on the shelf for 90 days. (the C escapes thru the plastic). Also, the water feeds the mold. And btw if CB could kill mold it'd be only on nonpourous surfaces because the chemicals in CB cant pass through wood(a pourous surface), (where the root of the mold is), only the water, which definitely feeds it and makes it grow back hairier. There's rumor about some type of mold but it's become resistant to CB since your greatgramma's era. :(!!!!! I really hope this is cleanable! AGAIN, Do not suggest CB! (research "Chlorine Bleach does not kill mold" in a searh engine if you're not convinced)

Open Question: How can I get rid of the dirt buildup on my berber carpeting?

Stanley Steemer didn't do the trick. I wonder if ChemDry or using some dry cleaning method other than that would work to take all the dingy dirt out? I'm ready to just rip it out and start over, but I'd rather not right now
