Open Question: How can I get out of my house?

I'm 17 years old. Throughout my life, I've had situations where I felt as if my family hated me, now I can see it is fact. I go through verbal, and emotionally abuse on a daily basis. If things get really bad, I get hit, but that's only when things are horribly bad. I'm currently grounded for 3 months due to the fact I was talking over her and trying to get it through her head she's making me want to kill myself. My boyfriend is doing my a favor by calling C.P.S but also gave me the option in calling the cops and telling them I can't take it here anymore. With either one of those, will they take me away? what will they do? where would i go? I'm sure they'd have the option in sending me to live with a different family member, but I really don't have anybody...
