Open Question: Why are my clothes getting torn up after being washed/dried?

i've had the same washer & dryer for months. Recently i've discovered only my bras and underwear literally torn up, ragged, and missing chunks of fabric from them after being washed. idk if it's the washer or dryer that's doing it. i scoped out both and there's nothing sharp in there or different. i've tried washing/drying on gentle & with extra care but my undergarments are still getting torn up. They're not old, almost new so i'm sure it's the washer/dryer. And oddly it's ONLY my bras and underwear getting ruined, none of my shirts and stuff made of the same fabric is being messed up. What is going on???

Open Question: How to I create soap scum?

I am doing an experiment on what natural cleaner does best with cleaning soap scum. But I was wondering, how am I able to create soap scum in a short period of time. I was guessing of having a tub of water mixed with bits of a shower soap bar and every five hours I dip in the tile space and then let it dry on it's own for over a period of five days. Does anyone think this would work? Please help!
