Also, is it better for the environment to wash glass plates rather than throw away paper ones. I know washing using a bit of water but paper has to come from trees and I don't think they use recycled paper in paper plates. Open Question: How do I get mysterious pink blotchy spots off my linoleum bathroom floors?Just a couple of days ago, I noticed pink spots on my floor at various places. It's got me very confused as to how they got there. I have always only used swiffer wet jet to clean the floors, and the bathroom is generally kept clean; in fact, it's hardly ever used (it's my guest bathroom). The color of the linoleum is sandy and a bit speckled. I tried scrubbing the pink spots with comet but it seems like something that's seeped in to the floor.
