Open Question: How do I make fabric soft? and more... Open Question: How do I make fabric soft?I recently purchased a handbag that's cloth material and its super stiff and hard. Is there a way to soften up the material so it more softer? Open Question: How to clean a shower cubicle? At my boyfriend's house he's just a new shower cubicle fitted. It's only been in a week so it's all nice and new, and until recently, sparkly clean. Now it's starting to show water marks. The base is white, the doors are glass, and the bits around the doors are like a brushed chrome. Because it's new, I don't want to use a powerful cleaner with ammonia in it, just something to keep ontop of the shower so that it stays nice. I've tried using my window cleaning vinegar and soapy water mix but wasn't sure if that was safe to use everywhere or just the glass doors? Anybody got any suggestions for a good all-round cleaner? I know I shouldn't be the one doing this but he won't do it and I certainly don't want to be showering in a dirty shower at his place when I stay over. Thanks in advance for your help! Open Question: How to get sewage smell out of main tube "inside" of washing machine?I am getting a sewage smell coming out of the main tube inside my washing machine. It is the tube that comes up from the middle that the fabric softener cup sits inside of. If I take the cup off and look down the tube, there are 3 or 4 slots internally. If I put a long tool down inside the slots and move it up and down, the smell gets stronger after stirring it up. I also discovered that when I pulled the tool out, it had black gunk on the end and smelled of that sewage smell I speak of. Any thoughts on what is going on and how to get at the problem?
