Open Question: do i over clean my toilet?

I like a lot of clutter, but my toilet always sparkles! I scrub it every day, use bleach and disinfectant and also have loo blocks in the cystern. once a week i take all the water out of it and scrub it again, using a mix of my own, thats completely natural and does a better job. If this OTT?

Open Question: Took a 1930s wool crepe dress to the dry cleaners, and it shrunk at least 2 inches!?

Is it permanent? Will it stretch out like a wool sweater does. It looks stupid now because it's just below the knee and 30s dresses are supposed to reach mid-calf! It has about and inch and a half of extra seam. Should I let it out? Did they screw up cleaning it?
