None of the tub and tile cleaners on the shelves today have an acid for iron stains removal anymore. Anyone know why? Open Question: What is a good Vacuum for pet hair on hardwood floors?I have 2 dogs and a cat and all hardwood floors. There is hair everywhere. I have a regular vacuum cleaner (Eureka, maybe?) that is supposed to be good for pet hair, but I think it is best for carpets as it just blows the hair around on the hard floors. I gave up on that and have been sweeping with a regular broom, but that is obviously not much better. My Mom has a Shark and she likes it a lot, but I think hers was about $100. I am looking for something similar to the Shark but maybe not as expensive. Any ideas? Thanks! Open Question: What is the correct way to ...?Wash dishes? The problem comes after shaking (per instructions) and pressing the nozzle down. The liquid foams up underneath the nozzle for some reason. do i just need to clear the nozzle? Open Question: How can I encourage my room-mate (little sister) to clean up?My little sister has recently moved into my apartment and every since than my place has been a mess. I will not go into details about the mess, because I am certain that we all have had dirty room-mates at some point. I will simply state that I spend a great deal of my time cleaning up after her. And, to make things worse my kitchen has become a paradise for roaches. I can't even get pest control to spray as there is a pile of dirty dishes in the sink within ten minutes. It's getting ridiculous! I have been a very patient individual, but my home is not my mother's (a place where you clean when you feel like it). How can I get her to understand this? Oh yeah, she is under the impression that you use bug spray every single time that a roach walks across the counter; and uses a gallon of in an attempt to kill the one. As opposed to spray the entire apartment once a week until the pest have either died or moved away from the poison. So, I stopped buying sprays as it became a waste of my money. Open Question: What will happen if i use regular washing detergent in my may tag washer when it calls for he?Open Question: What is the brown spice people use to spread in their closets?Open Question: accidentally put granite cleaner on stainless steal?i used the stainless steal cleaner to try to wash the granite cleaner off the refrigerator but i can still see the granite cleaner. did i harm the fridge? is there any way to fix this?
