Open Question: How would I remove burnt oil from a stainless steel pan?

I just bought a really nice set of pans that are stainless steel and I left the pan on the burner unattended for a little to long. Needless to say I ended up with burnt olive oil in my pan. I can not get it out by soaking in soapy water or by scrubbing with my all-surface sponge. What are my other options? Keep in mind I want to try not to scratch up the inside of the pan

Open Question: What's The Easiest Way To Wash Dishes In The Tub?

Currently my kitchen sink is not working and the dishes are piling WAY high. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had to do their dishes in the sink before. I'm trying to figure it out, a system. Does anyone have any ideas on how to minimize the mess, organize the process, and with no counter space, or table space... what should I do for drying?

Open Question: Where does the dirt go when you steam clean a carpet?

I urgently need to clean my carpet & steam cleaning seems to be the best way (so I'm told). But can anyone please tell me where the dirt goes when you use one on a carpet? They don't suck up the dirt like a washer so what do you do once you have run the steam cleaner over the carpet? Thanks in advance.
