Open Question: Pillowcase color rubbing off on wall? Open Question: Pillowcase color rubbing off on wall?I have black pillowcases which are 60% cotton and 40% polyester. I've had them for a few weeks and noticed that the color is starting to rub off on the white wall they rest against (i don't have a headboard or whatever). I'm not sure if it's part of the dye rubbing off, or particles from the fabric, but I can easily wash it off with a damp sponge. I'm just not sure why this would still be happening, since I've had them for a while and have washed them several times. Anyone else have this happen to them? What other fabrics could I use that would be less likely to do this? I'd rather not go the satin route and if I can still have my pillowcases black that would be ideal. I guess a quick solution would be to get a headboard, but let's say I don't or can't... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! More Recent Articles |
