Open Question: Dryer drum not turning?

The drum for the dryer is not turning. Heat is blowing fine and it makes this steady humming noise, but the drum is not moving. Any ideas on what it could be and how to fix it? Thanks. By the way, it is a Maytag dryer, a few years old and is a front load.

Open Question: How do I clean my white canvas shoes, I wore black socks and it rained?

I've tried using Shout stain remover, as well as Tide... right now they're soaking but still blue-ish. It was pouring rain, and they're white shoes... I didn't think it was going to rain so I wore black socks. Bad idea. :( If anyone has suggestions they are greatly appreciated! Oh, also I can't bleach them, they have a pattern on them but the base is white. Thanks :)

Open Question: how do i dye a sheepskin coat?

the coat is a light grayish white color. the shell is what looks like suede but says its sheepskin. I would like to dye the shell a darker color ( brown or black) and wondered what would be the best way to do this without messing it up.

Open Question: How to remove old stains from the carpet?

My white carpet is a disaster from spilled drinks. So I ran a Rug Doctor vacuum over it today, and it helped some, but there are still some spot stains you can see (red soda, some yellow stain, etc). How do I get these out?

Open Question: Cast iron pan with dried soap on it?

Alright, this may seem like an odd problem, but I was washing a cast iron frying pan with soap and didn't rinse immediately, got distracted by something (can't remember what) and when I came back to it, the soap was dried on. It's been sitting in my kitchen for a while because I don't know what to do with it. So what can I do to get the soap off? I've tried searching but all I could find was info about 'seasoning' it.
