Open Question: How to get stains from black jeans off a white shirt? and more... Open Question: How to get stains from black jeans off a white shirt?Yes, I was stupid to wash new black jeans with my favorite white and grey striped shirt. There's little black marks on the white bands and I've tried soaking in abundant amounts of OxiClean, I've used Spray-and-wash and Shout Advanced gel, and some of the lighter stains came out but there's still a conspicuous spot on the shirt. Can I bleach the white stripe and manage to keep the bleach off the grey stripe? (The stripes are about 1 inch apart). Or do you recommend any other cleaning agents? The shirt is 100% cotton and if possible I don't want to wash it in hot water because it might shrink. Help please, I'm determined to salvage this shirt! Anything at all that either take out, or cover up a gray mark on white fabric. Open Question: masturbathe without washing my hands with soap?some times when i come from school i wash my hands without soaping it then i go and masturbathe. Can i get aids like that? Open Question: How to wash pillows? Is it worth it?I have never washed pillows before: In the past I have always just thrown them out and bought new ones. However, a year ago I bought pillows which cost about £12.00 each (reduced from £16.00 at the time) and I don't want to throw them away as they are good quality ones (they're like hospital pillows). They are made from 100% cotton with 100% polyester aerelle allerban filling. How do I best clean them - I've heard that its not worth washing pillows as they just go lumpy. Is this true even for quality pillows. Has anyone ever successfully washed pillows - if so, how? Open Question: LG washer and dryer. Savings???? Pros and Cons???? Need some input!?Is it true that the washers use about 12 gallons of water? Is that 12 for wash then 12 for rinse again, or 12 per load total? Also, if you have a pair, what can we expect to see in savings for electric and gas. We have a gas dryer hook up, and an electric water heater. Did you see a remarkable savings on electric or gas, or very minimal?? I actually filled up my top loading washer today by hand with a load of clothes in it so I could accurately see how much water my washer is using per load. It took 21.5 gallons of water to fill it up with clothes in it. So that would be 43 gallons per wash cycle including rinse. We want to make an informed decision on this since we are a one income family and don't have extra resources. It would be a sacrifice up front to purchase a set. I need to know $$ figures of comparisons. Thanks in advance for any input! More Recent Articles
