Open Question: How to get smell out of suede shoes? and more... Open Question: How to get smell out of suede shoes?I have some suede mocasin shoes like these http://www.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/15d/0/AAAAAowWvtQAAAAAAV0NtQ.jpg and lately a buildup of stinky feet odor has occured within the shoes...and now whenever I wear them, people think I have really smelly feet. How do I take the odor out? I've hear dabout putting baking soda...but I read online that baking soda and suede don't make a good mix. =/ What should I do? Open Question: How to get the mildewy smell out of my towels?I'm pretty sure my front-loading washer is the culprit, but since I mortgaged my first-born to buy them (used) and spent half a day wedging them into my tiny home, they're sort of here for good. My towel isn't so bad, but my husband's towel smells terrible, even after multiple washings. It has plenty of ventilation after use, and I make sure it dries completely before taking it out of the dryer, and use dryer sheets, but I can even smell the towel ON him after he showers (it's always disheartening to smell like mildew AFTER a shower). Any suggestions on how to get the smell out? Natural, non-chemical ways are preferable! Open Question: does anyone like the smell of bleach besides me?Whenever some one is cleaning the bathroom with bleach for example i am attracted to it. Open Question: How long is a Swifter Duster?I just need to know for a prop I want to make. I don't personally own one and I don't wanna go out and get one just to find out it's the wrong size, so... Someone who has the regular old swiffer duster, measure the length of the rod for me and tell me how long it is in inches, please? The circumference would also be good to know too, actually. Open Question: where can i get a laundry card in phoenix, az?just moved and the laundry room only takes those laundry card things and i dont know were to buy them Open Question: Dishwashers vs. Hand wash?Ok my mom is refusing to let us use the dishwasher. Does it take more water and money to operate than to wash the dishes by hand? Cuz I don't want to spend 2 hrs washing giant knives and scrubbing out big woks Open Question: how can i get static out of silk?Open Question: Do you know of any home cleaning tips?So I have just noticed that a bottle of hairspray has leaked on the fake wood floor and has dried. In the process it has acted like some kind of glue and now my shoe is stuck to the floor. I was thinking of just using some wet towels and soaking it in hopes that that would loosen it up and make it some what liquid like. But, if anyone out there has a better tip it would be much appreciated. Thanks. More Recent Articles
