Open Question: How exactly would you clean out a 55-gallon drum that once contained a flammable liquid?So I tried to look it up on a search engine and after combing through a couple of articles I couldn't find anything to answer my question..so I came here :) I'm not sure if the barrel still contains any liquid but the worn away sticker says that it did at one point. So I got a whiff of its contents and its definitely petroleum based. I wanted to make sure I don't have to worry about singing my eyebrows before I started working and welding on it.
