Open Question: how do you remove calcium build up from Porcelain? and more... Open Question: how do you remove calcium build up from Porcelain?hard water stains have left rings in our toilet bowls, how do I get them off without hurting the bowl Open Question: Even when my house is clean I still feel like it's not ?Am I really just a neat freak, or is this unhealthy activity ? My boyfriend and I live together. Just the two of us, no kids. Anyways .. When I get home from work I walk right into the kitchen and do any dish in the sink. Then I work my way around the house cleaning. The routine is typically dishes, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, and picking up. After i'm done with the housework, I usually watch a little t.v and relax. I can be right in the middle of a show and have this urge that I need to take a walk around the house and make sure everything is still neat and in place Also, if I don't make my bed before I go to work in the morning, I think about it at work, and it makes me a little "uneasy" I guess. Another thing is when I'm trying to get ready for the day, I spend about half of that time cleaning. It's like I can't shower, do my hair & make-up without having to clean. I'll take a shower, get out, and go clean something, brush my teeth and hair, then go clean something, do my make-up, then clean something. It's annoying .. and if I don't do it then I feel almost out of place. Now this one sounds really strange.. but if we happen to go away for a weekend, I find my self visualizing what my house looked like when I left, and what I need to clean when I come back. My boyfriend always reassures me the house is nice and clean, but to me it feels dirty. UGHHH ...! I don't know. Am I just a real neat freak ? Open Question: How to clean stains on my almuinium pans?Recently when I put aluminium pans through the dishwasher they have been getting brown/purple stains on them. What causes this, how do I prevent this and how do I remove this? Note: It is only the aluminium items - nothing else is affected. Open Question: People with filthy houses... can I ask you something?Im not trying to offend anyone. Im just curious. Becuase I have some family that I feel need help and I wanna better understand the problem before I give a helping hand. How did your house get that way? Did your parents teach you to clean or were they keeping a filthy home also? Is it an illness? Like that hoarding thing? Does the filth bother you? Or do you learn to live with it? Are you comfortable when you are in a clean home? Do you want to change? Or are you find wallowing in filth? My husbands aunt is a very filthy woman. She lives with her 23 year old son and together along with their 2 dogs and 7 cats they have created hell on earth. Thick film of animal hair/dirt over everything. Your shoes stick as you walk through the home. The smells hits you in the face like a truck when you walk in. Petrified animal poop scattered along the floor. wastebasket in upstairs bathroom is a overflowing with wadded up condoms and used qtips. Those are just a few examples... My husbands auntie recently had knee replacement surgery. So I was the one to step up and take care of her. She bitched on end about the houses condition and how its never going to sell this way (its on the market). Her son is totally useless and I really thought that she was reaching out for help. So on her birthday last weekend we put her up in a nice hotel in AC with a friend. While she was 'wheeling' in her chair around the casino she hired my husband and I to clean up/paint her home to het it ready for sale. I gave her son a 'keep the place nice or ill find you and kill you speech' and had him help me. 3.5 days it took us to ssanitize the place. I seriously made it amazingly perfect. When she returned home i had candles going. A fresh batch of cookies baking (to cover up the paint ssmell) and I thought she was going to be thrilled. So did her son and my husband. She wasnt... She was pissed. I could just tell. She said 'woow...its um. clean' she then looked around for a bit saying 'humm' and whispering to herslelf. Then she said. Ok. Im going to take a nap. I was stunned. I didnt disturb any of her things. Everything is right back to where she had it. I know she didnt expect me to go above and beyone but i wanted it to be special for her. Is it possible she likes it gross? Should I try to make it up to her or just not call for a while?? :/ Open Question: My mom refuses to wash her dishes with soap....Help!?She rinses them so that all the food is off, but she wont use soap! She claims dish soap is only used to remove grease and it doesn't kill germs... I think its really gross that she wont use soap....Help! Do you have any links that could help me fight my case??? Open Question: How do you get crayon off of a painted wood grain wall?I have blue crayon marks on my wood grain wall, which has tan colored latex paint. I've tried a few things to scrub it off but I haven't found anything that works yet. Any suggestions? Open Question: ive got a question regarding washing machines, which is more delicate the "delicate" or the "ultra handwash"?Open Question: HS ladies, help me out?now I'M NOT talking about hitting back, ok? but this was damn embarrassing. this fly a** HS chick slapped my face. what sucked the most was the way that she did it was some cute move that worked hella good on me. If she had tried to smack me the usual way a lot of girls do, like by lifting up her hand, i would have easily blocked it. but this is what she used on me. stuck out her hip, planted her hand on her hip that went out, flipped her other hand out, *smack*! and right before it happened, it was like i knew i was totally screwed. what could i do against that move?? i watched her hip, her face, her hand on her hip, so i'm like well, WTF? how come i was frozen like that?? arrgh, damnit! so help me out, because i can't have this used on me. first, how do i block this move? I thought i could, but when she used it on me, i can't. Second, Are a lot of chicks in HS knowing how to use this on guys? I freakin hope not. More Recent Articles
