Open Question: I have a ghost stain on my colored clothes.?

The stains appeared one day after a wash, there was nothing abnormal in the washer. I checked 3x. All the stains are just slightly darker than the fabric they are on so it looks like wet spots that don't dry. They are in no particular pattern and therefore are in all the most noticeable places. They are on multiple fabrics from cotton to polyester. Cant get them out with any type of detergent or spray n wash type of cleanser. I suppose it looks a bit like a food grease stain. But we don't eat greasy food. And i definitely didn't put French fries in the wash or something. Please help, husband uniform and my dressiest shirts hang in the balance.

Open Question: Cleaning baseboards without removing the paint?

I'm renting the house I live in now, so I don't want to cause damage. The last time I tried cleaning the baseboards I just used pledge multi-surface and paper towels, but then the paint started coming off (I'm sure the paint is 30+ years old). While I would love to not worry about it and just repaint it white instead of the off-white it is now, I am only renting and don't wanna put too much money in a house I won't be in for more than a year. How can I clean these old baseboards without the paint coming off? We have a baby girl on the way and I'm nesting, really trying to make this house totally spotless! (really hard to with an 18 month old wild man here) Thank you in advance!

Open Question: Can I clean a hardwood floor with regluar mop and bucket?

it's a walnut hardwood floor, would like to give it a good clean with regular mop and bucket (the kind where you add cleaner to hot water and wring the mop out) - swiffer just doesn't seem to cut it with 4 young kids and a puppy...don't want to damage the wood though.

Open Question: Difference between organic cotton and regular cotton?

As in clothes. Or as in the Ergo baby carrier. What's the difference in the fabric? Is one more breathable than the other or is one more "hot"?
