Open Question: help spilt my waxing pot all over the carpet?Open Question: Black stains under sink?There is black sealant around my sink to prevent leaks, I guess its wearing off because there are black stains dripping down under the sink, what should I do? Do I risk getting mold is the sealant has worn off? Open Question: How to hem pants? (and use sewing machine)?The pants are already shortened and marked, i just need to sew it into place. but i have never used a sewing machine so i have no idea what im doing. i understand i have to fold the pants up so the inside is showing and sew the hem into place, but won't the thread show up on the outside of the pants? when answering, remember i am a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff, so feel free to treat in the same manner... Open Question: whats wrong with my dishwasher?there was a flash and it blew the lights in the house out, but it is still switching on, all the program lights are lit but its not taking in water or working at all. Open Question: Check put in washing machine help?I put my cousins check in the washer( I think). I was to deposit it for her and I had it in my jeans pocket. My clothes got washed and I cannot remember taking it out. I checked the pants but there are no remaineders of the check there or in the washer. My question is if I did wash it would it be totally ruined? Like could it have gone in the dryer and been okay? And if it was washed would I have seen paper particles in the clothes or washer?
