Open Question: Cleaning products that DO what they say they're going to do....or NOT?

Two wonderful products come to mind that actually keep their promise to help with the cleaning process: One has been around for quite awhile and we all know it: Mr. Clean's Magic Eraser and the other great product is Pledge's PET ERASER. (It does a fabulous job of picking up the fur!!); however it falls short because it's "disposable"). Who wants to keep throwing plastic away? :( Cheaters like me, though, pry an end up to remove the fur once it's filled (expected to last 3 weeks they say), and re-use it. The plastic is similar to those containers deli meats come in nowadays. Any other product that has "WOW'd" you we should know about? Or your thoughts on these?

Open Question: New dishwasher sticks out beyond old cupboards - how can I "pretty" it up until it's time to replace them?

My new dishwasher sticks out from my old counter cupboards by about two inches on the sides (the top is fine, as the counter-top sticks out a little more than the cupboards beneath it). I'll be replacing the old cupboards within the next year, however what can I use until then to cover up the unsightly two inches of the dishwasher sides that should be hidden?

Open Question: How do I get my boyfriend to clean up?

Okay, I'm a very clean person.. I love a clean, clutter free, spic and span house. My boyfriend on the other hand he is not so much it. He Is to me a hoarder; when he gets mail, instead of getting up and throwing ripped envelopes and junk mail away he throws it in the bottom of his table right beside his reclining chair. I stay home take care of the kids, and clean when I am home. And I always have A JOB TO DO when I clean. My boyfriend saves anything and everything. He doesnt go through anything to organize it and throw old things away. And the thing I hate the most is when I'm cleaning, someone will go behind me and mess things up all over again. He throws his clothes on the floor right beside the bed.. even when he sees me picking em all up.. sometimes the pile will get 2 ft high before he picks up. He cleans up, dont get me wrong.. but he only does once in a while. He'll go through boxes and things. And really clean up. But how do I try to get him to pick up his clothes and try to get him to stop saving junk?
