Open Question: My Washed Clothes Have "Whitish" Stains Now?

I don't get it. I was washing clothes and using powdered soap. Clothes, like black pants, were coming out with large whitish stains all over them. Was told to switch to Liquid detergent. Now, I'm noticing the same thing!!...drives me nuts...what else could it be? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Open Question: How to make a mopped floor smell better afterwards?

When my mom mops, she uses a traditional mop, instead of a a swiffer one. I love swiffer ! but she is lazy and arrogant , and refuses to listen to what I say, so it is not used anymore. she thinks that using a traditional mop is better than using a swiffer mop. I doubt it. But anyway, What can I put in the water to make the floor smell better when it is drying ? she uses pine sol floor cleaner in water , and after the floor dries up, you can smell this real nasty, moldy, wet smell of dirty water, from all the dirt being spread around. Besides putting white vinegar in water, what are my other choices ? so that next time she mops, the floor will have a brilliant after smell ?

Open Question: Should I remove the molds on my wall or leave it alone?

There is a patch of mold (3 foot by 3 foot) on my bedroom wall. I've been contemplating on whether I should remove it or leave it alone. I haven't had any ill effects from the molds. Someone told me that if one tries to remove the mold without using professionals, the mold spores could fly everywhere and make things worse. What should I do? Thanks!
