Open Question: is anyone sick of the swiffer commercials?Open Question: my dryer now has ink stains in it..any advice?so my pen exploded in the dryer and the ink went everywhere! there is little ink spots all inside of it. I have tried to use bleach, comet, rubbing alcohol, peroxide and nail polish remover. The nail polish remover was doing the best (the other items did not even remove ANY of it) but it didn't remove it completely. should i keep going about it this way or is there anything else i could use? i have heard of using butane or gasoline but then i also heard it takes forever for the smell to go away and i live with roommates. so i don't know if i should use one of them? any other advice? also, there is spots on my clothes and i have bleached what i could but that did not take them out and i do not like oxy-clean ( i do not think it works and yes i have used it before!) Open Question: How can I tell if I smell bad?My sister used to make jokes saying stuff like"they don't like you cause you smell" or just right out "you smell". I heard her say that to one of her friends and I said "she always says that to me" and we agreed that she tells people they smell even when they don't just to make them feel bad. But later as she was taunting me again she said her friend only agreed with me because she didn't want me to feel bad about actually smelling. When I asked my mom she said "no you don't smell your sisters just being mean" and when I askedy friend if I smell she said no. Today, some kid was joking around and said "and so don't stand near her cause she smells". I know he didn't know about my worry that I actually smell and probably just meant it as a joke, but also when people hug me or something, they usually don't hug or very long and I feel like it's cause I stink. I bathe daily, wear deodorant and a frangrance body spray. I feel like mymom and friend are just being nice to spare my feelings. How can I tell if I smell. Please help, it is like the one thing I self conscious about and it kills my confidence Open Question: whats wrong with my moms clothes washer?my mom has had this same washer for 12-13 years, i think its just getting old, but i figured i'd ask if theres anything we can do to fix it, we dont really have enough money to get a new one, it keeps making this buzzing, alram noise, when its off it dont make the noise but everytime she turns it back on it starts making that noise. whats wrong with it? is there anything we can do to fix it?
