Open Question: How do I get rid of mold from a leather wallet?

I have a (man's) leather wallet with a thin layer of green mold on most surfaces, inside and out. It's one of those that folds in to thirds. I really want to clean it up, what's the best way to do that? Baking soda? Vinegar? Should I put it in the sun to kill the mold? Something simple and homemade using things like those is preferable because I live in China and I can't read Chinese. I don't know if there are any products available that deal with this specific problem anyway, in China or around the world, but it's worth a try.

In the UK. My mum used to buy some from Tesco, it was really lovely smelling. I use Bold at the moment & want something that has a nicer smell, as I love the smell of washing powder. :)
