I have a queen size comforter - the label lists the fabric as 100% cotton, the filling as 100% polyester, and the back as 100% polyester. I am unsure if the side in question is cotton or polyester because Im horrible with fabrics, but its the side of the blanket not against my body. Well its black and has some protein stains that really stand out on the black side of this comforter. What can I use other than dry cleaning it and putting it in the washer to just apply to the stained area, scrub it and the stain be gone, all without killing the color of the black comforter?
