I have a white crochet bikini and some white shorts that are stained (and very dirty-looking) by both suncream and iodine (from the water supply of a cruise ship!) I've tried vanish stain remover on them, to no avail, and have also washed them on a boil wash at 90 - again no results. Daz doesn't work lol! I was wondering if anyone had any other tips on how to get them white again. If I bleach them, would this work and if so, how would I do it? I'm giving it one last shot before I go out and buy new white clothes! Thanks, Bec x Open Question: how often do you wash the baseboards and walls, etc?Also included are other areas that sticky fingers get to like door handles, knobs, light plates, etc. I'm especially interested if you have kids less than 10, the age of sticky fingers. I never heard of it, and I wanna know if i could just stick it in the washing machine with a load of laundry. Would it shrink? would the colours bleed (It's a dark colour)? It's kinda dirty and I need to wash it because I'm going to a function that forces me to wear a shirt and tie. I dont wanna show up with a tie that's kinda dirty... also do i have to untie it to wash it?
