Open Question: How to lessen the odor of bad smelling food in a fridge?My roommate has these really bad smelling korean pickles in our shared refrigerator. When you open the refrigerator door you can smell them and the odor gets onto the other food that it is in the fridge.She ends up leaving them in there for like a month, I have tried leaving baking soda in the fridge but the smell is stronger than the baking soda. She took a french manicure pen and decided to mark all over the fireplace when I wasn't looking. I have tried nail polish, and just about anything else I can think of to try to get it off and nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions (other than to keep a better eye on my 2 year old?)? Open Question: new swiffer vac better?I have the older version of the swiffer vac, and it does a great job with everything except kitty litter and cat food crumbs in the cats' room. (my actual vacuum just spits this stuff out the back... so I have to use the dust pan and get down and 'sweep' - ugh!) Has anyone tried the newer version? Did you find it more powerful than the old one -- or are you able to pick up larger stuff? The ad/website says it picks up cereal, what do you think?
