Open Question: How do I get rid of red stains?

So today I was making red velvet cake, & some of the batter got on my white shirt. I was wondering if there's any way to get it off of my shirt. So if you could help me that would be great. Thanks (:

Open Question: How do you iron something on a "cool" setting?

My son's pants say on the tag, "Cool Iron when needed." Well they're really wrinkly so they need to be ironed, but doesn't "Cool Iron" sound like an oxymoron? I mean, what do I do, NOT plug it in??? That's the only way I can think of setting an iron to Cool. Now seriously, the settings on my iron are: linen, cotton, wool, silk, synthetic, or off. Which one of these is the Cool setting?
