Open Question: what removes strong air oder? and more... Open Question: what removes strong air oder?Open Question: 2 pair of new deep-dyed jeans smell like nasty chemicals smell. Washed, vinegar soak, NOTHING works. Help?Bought at a popular, economical retail chain. Washed with other clothing, now that smells too. Have soaked each item in: vinegar, Oxyclean, Tide, used fabric softeners, tried throwing them outside to air out. There is still a strong, pungent odor of chemicals, similar to dry cleaning fluid. It doesn't feel healthy to breathe the odor, much less wear the jeans. Could it be formaldehyde? Any chemists that know how to remove the odor, other than ditching the jeans? These are the household chores i would do weekly to every other week. Please give me a rough estimate for each chore ( 4 chores and 1 extra ! ) and if you want you can give me an estimate of weekly chores (4) and not counting extra .... just as a big total !!
