Open Question: Anyone know how to get the clear grease/oil stains out of clothes?

When my wife and I go out to eat, she is always dropping a piece of food on her clothes. Like a french fry or a piece of meat from a hamburger. The stain us usually not colored it looks like a wet spot, but it never comes out even after washing. So now a lot of her cotton tee shirts have little spots in the chest area that look like wet spots. She is so annoyed by them she won't wear the shirts again so now we have a lot of perfectly new shirts with only small spots on them that look like a spot of water. Anyone know how to get these out after the shirts have been washed? Or how to get them out before washing them. They are quite permanent once the clothes are washed.

Open Question: I just bought 3 really comfortable bras, but the problem I always have is the stitching!?

WHY do they use what feels like FISHING LINE!? What can I do to soften up the stitching so it doesn't scratch and dig into my skin? I've already taken a lighter to it, and it burned off some, but there are other places on the band that are not helped by it..

Open Question: washer/dryer for a large family?

Within the next my husband and I will be getting our taxes back, and I'm getting a new washer/dryer (mine was used and broken down when we got them) And I was wondering what a good brand/model would be good for a large family. We have 3 boys and 1 girl. Right now, I've got 3 that aren't in school, 2 of them under 20 months. I want these to last me a while. I can't go out and replace them every year or so (Like I have been with my used ones) This is my first time buying a washer/dryer and I have no idea what to look for. I'm wanting to go as cheap as we can, but I'd rather get great quality then cheap (but cheap is good!) Doesn't matter if its a front loader, or a top loader or whatever, just need to make sure its going to last a while and can handle 2 to 3 loads of clothes per day. Any ideas on a brand/type I should be looking for? Links would be great!

Open Question: Can I bleach a brown dress that says "Do Not Bleach?"?

Does the "Do Not Bleach" refer to the ovious fact that bleaching will change the color or is it a warning that it would destroy the fabric? The dress is 97% Cotton and 3% Spandex.
