Open Question: My Dryer spin's but doesn't heat up clothe's.?my question is, did the heating elemen'ts go out ? it's only about 3.5 yrs old. is that typical for a washer or dryer to fail that soon ? bought them at the same time. the washer is still going. i took off the dryer hose and looking in there and the exhaust took for excess lint. i found some lint in both and when i went outside i noticed the air flow seemed higher. but the lint trap itself has always been cleaned out after every load of laundry. it's a Whirpool. i know more about computers than i do dryer's. so is it cheaper to get it fixed or buy another one ? the funny thing is that the air in the dryer is almost as ice cold as the weather outside. i guess the cold air seeps in through the exhaust and into the dryer when it's not running. Open Question: Hotpoint Aquarius completely dead?Mains cable,fuse and filter checked all ok, power gettig to electronic box in the bottom of the machine.Any help on this or just forget it ?. or get another washer.
