Then, I pulled the white thing off and poured it into the bowl but oil got everywhere and it's so strong smelling, yuck. So my question is what is the white thing for? Should I leave it on? After the bleach, they returned to the original pink (came with a nightie which I never wear so I matched colors) I was surprised because I thought they would turn white, they didn't. But here's my real question: I also have a bright yellow shirt that had makeup on it, so I put it in a regular wash, the makeup is still there and the shirt is (somehow) now greenish! Thinking about my underwear turning back to the original colour after bleaching it, would bleaching my shirt make it bright yellow again? If not how do I get the green tinge out of the yellow shirt?
