Open Question: A question about scented oil that goes in an oil burning pot?

My husband bought me a pretty oil burner with a dolphin on it, it's so cool and I have been dying to try it but when I went to open a bottle of scented oil to put in the little bowl over a candle, there was a white thing on the top and I tried to shake some oil into the bowl but nothing came out. Then, I pulled the white thing off and poured it into the bowl but oil got everywhere and it's so strong smelling, yuck. So my question is what is the white thing for? Should I leave it on? I try to shake it or hold it upsidedown, not a drop comes out.

Open Question: Q. about my experiences bleaching clothes, and what to do next?

I decided to put bleach on a pair of underwear that originally were pink, but had turned a dark purpley grey from not sorting laundry properly. After the bleach, they returned to the original pink (came with a nightie which I never wear so I matched colors) I was surprised because I thought they would turn white, they didn't. (any thoughts on this?) But here's my real question: I also have a bright yellow shirt that had makeup on it, so I put it in a regular wash, the makeup is still there and the shirt is (somehow) now greenish! Thinking about my underwear turning back to the original colour after bleaching it, would bleaching my shirt make it bright yellow again? If not how do I get the green tinge out of the yellow shirt?
