Open Question: HELP with handwashing a fleece?

It fits me perfect right now, any smaller would look bad. How should I go about washing this? Cold water or hot water? Which one prevents shrinking? Hang dry? Will hand washing prevent shrinking rather then just throwing it into the wash? P.S. This is what it says it's made of according to the label. BODY: 71% cotton, 29% polyester HOOD LINING: 100% cotton

Open Question: will a leather jacket (i.e. bomber jacket) shrink if it gets wet?

I have a leather jacket that does not have a zip out liner. The outer side of the garment is fine but the inner feels like it needs to be cleaned. I want to turn it inside out and wash it and then tumble at very low heat or maybe hang dry. My only concern is if the leather will shrink or not? It is like a bikers jacket smooth leather but not suede. These jackets get wet all the time in the rain so I don't see the difference. The liner is cotton and so I am more concerned about the leather shrinking. I know they prefer you to get it specially cleaned by a leather professional but the leather is fine. Please advise!!!!!!!!!!!!
