Open Question: Does water ruin leather or rawhide?

I got a few new Abercrombie necklaces as gifts recently and they are made of either leather or rawhide. Will they get ruined or whatnot if they get wet? I'm not sure if I should take them off when showering. Here's the material representation http://www.abercrombie-fitch-sale.com/images/products/abercrombie/886000334.jpg

Open Question: How can I remove wrinkles from pants with special care instructions?

I just purchased a pair of pants that have care instructions which state that: 1) they must be hang dried, 2) they cannot be ironed, and 3) they cannot be dry cleaned. I have hang dried them, as the garment labels instructs, but they are pretty wrinkled now. So without using a dryer, ironing, or taking them to a dry cleaners, how can I remove the wrinkles? Thanks.

How does it work? Any good? Worth the money? Does it cost a lot buying the replacement pads?
