It is perfect, except for the fact that the last original owner chain smoked in the house for ~30 years. It was sold the the previous owners that laid down all new wood vinyl flooring, new carpet, painted the walls, and replaced all the appliances - but it still smells heavily of smoke (practically unlivable). We are worried that the last owners painted over the walls and "locked" the cigarette smoke into the walls... I've looked at ozone generators (http://www.ozoneapplications.com/rental_programs.htm) odorxit (http://odorxit.com/?catalogd&clo2f), and other cleaning products such as TSP. I was wondering if anyone tried any of these products or managed to remove the strong cigarette smoke smell from a house that they had. This is seriously the only thing keeping us from buying the house. Thanks ahead of time for any helpful comments!
